The Ramex 1/2″ Stainless Steel Hose Reel Swivel – 400 Bar is a high-pressure replacement swivel designed for compatible Ramex AV and AVM hose reels.
Installed between the stationary fluid supply and the rotating hose reel drum, the swivel maintains the fluid connection while allowing the reel to rotate during hose deployment and retraction. It is suited to compatible high-pressure water and industrial cleaning systems operating at pressures up to 400 bar or 5,800 PSI.
Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, the swivel provides corrosion resistance for demanding industrial and mobile equipment environments. Its 10mm internal bore supports fluid transfer through the reel assembly, while the FFKM and PTFE sealing arrangement is designed for the requirements of the specified high-pressure configuration.
The upgraded version uses an internal bushing in place of the bearing fitted to the original design. Ramex developed this configuration to provide increased service life in compatible reel applications. An original bearing-style version remains available separately, so the existing swivel and reel configuration should be checked before ordering.
