The VS240 Safety Relief Valve is designed for pressure protection in compatible pressure washers, industrial pressure cleaners and high-pressure water systems.
When correctly adjusted, the valve responds when system pressure reaches its configured threshold, releasing excess pressure through its external discharge. This helps protect the pump and other compatible system components from pressure conditions above the intended operating setting.
The VS240 features a compact brass body, a Delrin ball shutter and a 3/8″ BSP male inlet. It is rated for a flow of up to 24 L/min, a working pressure rating of 240 bar / 3,500 PSI, and a maximum permissible pressure of 290 bar / 4,200 PSI.
The valve is supplied without a preset pressure adjustment. It must be correctly installed and adjusted by a qualified installer before it can function as a safety device.
